Smart Development

We need to ensure that people from all age groups and economic circumstances continue to share our community. We cannot be afraid of change. I am committed to:

• development that allows our community to maintain what makes this a great place to live while at the same time taking advantage of opportunities that propel us forward. 

• pursuing development that ensures that those just starting out, young families, those who are economically established, and retirees can continue to live in our community and contribute to our community life.

• taking what we have learned from the debates of 2021 to find ways to expand housing options that our community can support.

• development that is consistent with our community sustainability plan that should be completed in 2022.

• moving on from the Douglass Hill proposal in a way that allows community and current property owners to help us define next steps and continue to pursue development on that site.
